FinVue

Personal Finance Web App

Introduction

A financial management web app built as the ITC123 Software Development course project — React, Firebase, and a Spline 3D hero, developed by a student team on a fork-branch-PR git workflow.

The Project

FinVue was our Software Development course build: a personal finance web application with authenticated accounts and a polished landing experience, deployed live on Vercel.

The Build

React 18 with Vite and Tailwind, shadcn/ui components on Radix primitives, and Firebase for auth and data — with bcrypt hashing on credentials. A Spline 3D scene gives the landing page depth that most school projects skip.

As much as the product, the course graded the process: the repo README is a full git collaboration guide, and the team worked fork-to-PR like a real engineering org.
