AI-Assisted Hiring Platform — Hackathon Build
An AI-assisted hiring platform built in 72 hours for WPH’s Next Gen Revolution 2024 hackathon, where it placed 3rd: it scores résumés with spaCy, generates Big-Five skills assessments with OpenAI, and proctors timed tests with in-browser computer vision.
Artisan Peeper — “artisan” for skilled makers, “peeper” for the recruiter’s eyes — was Team ByteMeHarderPH’s entry to WPH’s Next Gen Revolution 2024 hackathon. The brief: use AI to make talent discovery and hiring faster. We had a weekend.

A React + Tailwind platform that gives recruiters a structured, AI-driven view of every applicant, backed by a Node.js / Express service. spaCy parses résumés and distils them into a talent score, while OpenAI generates soft-skill and cognitive assessments grounded in the Big-Five model.
During a timed test, a TensorFlow.js proctor runs entirely in the browser — object and gaze detection flag when a candidate looks away or someone else enters frame. Recruiters then browse open roles and read role-fit analytics that predict personality traits and compatibility, all from one dashboard.

Artisan Peeper took 3rd place at WPH’s Next Gen Revolution 2024, the Philippine entry on a regional podium behind Malaysia’s HireSight (1st) and Singapore’s JobStop (2nd).

Built in 72 hours by Team ByteMeHarderPH — Ram Baarde, Rhyu Miranda, Emmanuel Fabella, and Aubrey Lizardo.
Four people, one weekend, one working hiring loop: résumé in, scored assessment and proctored test out. It’s still the build that taught us how much you can ship when in-browser ML removes a whole layer of deployment.
